  • Independent Compliance Auditor, 23 alternative charter high schools, and provided other critical consulting services, Youth Connection Charter Schools, Chicago, IL 1997-2007.

  • Facilitator, Grantmaker’s Board Development and Program Evaluation, Grotto Foundation, Minneapolis (Mpls), MN, 2004.

  • Facilitator, Board Development and Governance, West Broadway Area Coalition; and, the Phyllis Wheatley Community Center, Minneapolis (Mpls), MN 2004.

  • Collaborated with the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute, Tanzania; the Economic and Social Research Foundation of East Africa; and the University of Durban--Westville, South Africa, on variety of programs and conference strategies, 1994-1998.

  • Directed and managed administrative, operational and budgetary functions; recruited, trained, and deployed an effective staff in support of the Chicago School-To-Work Opportunities System for Chicago Public Schools, City Colleges of Chicago, Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, Chicago Workforce Board and Illinois State Board of Education, 1996-1998.

  • Initiated connectivity allowing teachers and students in 17 Illinois schools to electronically communicate Chicago Metropolitan History Education Center (America’s largest independent urban history center), 1995-1996.

  • Led cross cultural briefings on Tanzania MBA Enterprise Corp, 1994.

  • Designed award winning public-private educational partnership publicized by the Secretary of Labor’s Commission on Achieving Necessary Skills 1992.

  • Conceived and managed North Chicago Community Unit School District 187's Partners in Progress Program (PIP), which led to the selection of the Superintendent as one North America’s top 100 school administrators Executive Educator magazine, 1991.  PIP included innovative award winning programs as: Mini-Grants to Principals and Teachers, Home Learning Academy for Parents and Students, Principal’s Academy, etc.
